Angela Dato, when not on the lanes, spends most of her time as a professional chauffeur for her teenage son Ryan. She enjoys watching the family competitive spirit be fostered in her incredibly active son while he plays baseball, basketball, and football. In the rare moments she has to herself Angela likes to play a round of golf or spend some adult time catching up with her friends. Although it has been secretly rumored that a fuzzy blanket and a good movie also makes for a great pastime. 

Having been a bowler in the Denver Metro area since her youth, Angela has had 11 300 games and 9 800 series with a high of 823. In the Greater Denver USBC Angela has averaged over 220 for the last 10 years with her highest average being 228 in 2020-2021. She has been elected Bowler of the Year twice and been on the Team of Honor 9 times.

Angela is always a fervent lover of the game and is constantly promoting tournaments as well as supporting the local association. In the Greater Denver City Tournaments, both the Open and Women's, Angela has had a 1st Team finish in 2008, 2nd and a 3rd Team finish in 2016, 3rd Team finish and a 2nd Singles finish in 2019, 2nd Singles and a 3rd Team finish in 2020, and a 2nd Team and a 4th Doubles finish in 2021. In the Greater Denver Queens Tournament, she finished 2nd in both 2011 and 2014, while cashing in 7 different events. Her best finigh in the Greater Denver USBC Masters Tournament was 9th in 2020.
